Team FALKEN's Yoshihide Muroya Crowned Series Champion in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship 2017

We are pleased to announce that Team FALKEN's Yoshihide Muroya has won the final race of this year's Red Bull Air Race World Championship, which was held this past October 14-15 weekend in Indianapolis, USA. With his victory in Indianapolis -his fourth win of the season- Mr. Muroya secured the title of Series Champion, making him the first Asian pilot to accomplish this momentous feat. Through our FALKEN brand, we are proud to sponsor Mr. Muroya, who holds the distinction of being the only race pilot from Asia competing in the Master Class in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship 2017.
Having propelled himself to 2nd Place overall with his third win of the series in Lausitz, Germany last month, Mr. Muroya kept up the momentum through the final race of the season, once again demonstrating his amazing high-speed, high-precision flying skills to win his fourth race of the tournament. Competing from the second race of the season (San Diego, USA) in a racing plane decked out in brand new FALKEN Motorsports colors, Mr. Muroya won that race and the race that followed (Chiba, Japan) -giving him his first ever consecutive wins. In this year's Red Bull Air Race World Championship, Mr. Muroya achieved his personal best 4 wins in a single season, which paved his way to ultimate glory as the first ever Series Champion from Asia.
